Jperf point to point network connection diagnostic

This tool here iperf or jperf, is the one I find very useful in measuring the speed and reliability of a connection either in LAN or through internet/WAN.
and it is cross platform since it is made using java, you just need to install it in each points you want to test, and one or some of them act as server while the rest as client.
you initiate the program from server as the listener in a certain port (the default is 5001).
jperf-1
Then you go to the client and configure it to connect to the server using the same port.
jperf-2
pick what option would you like to test and click the button.
this is really good to diagnose microwave connection’s pointing, or to check whether the wired line is having some trouble, or the transceiver device have problem.
